Do you experience much dust in your area? Thanks, I am a bit worried about that especially as it faces west. We might need to add a couple of whirly birds later. Although we could lift the blinds slightly and put the ceiling fans on full blast Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. One main one which is 12.8 length x 3.7 at one end it narrows down to 2.4 or total of 48.32m2 and the kids patio is 6.5 length x 3 (22.20m2) this runs off their playroom.
So a total of 70.52m2. I'm happy with this so far but am yet to live in the house, the slab just got poured last friday Re: How big is your alfresco/patio? 33Nov 21, 2009 9:28 pm milly_monster Milly this looks lovely, I like the way it has it's own roofline, very nice Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. And that INCLUDED the balcony and garage!!! Garage? ....Garage? Luxury!! We had a self-built single carport that we eventually added brick piers and a roller door to the front of, and we thought that was the bee's knees. Our lovely deck saved our sanity, I'm sure. It became an extra room that got used for about 8 months of the year. Thank goodness for a northern orientation! Even though we have a whopper of a house now, with practically enough living rooms for the five of us to have one each, our al fresco room was a must-have. The old covered deck hosted many parties, Christmas dinners, kids' birthdays, bbqs, and got used for a lot of our meals - so we wouldn't have considered any house design that didn't offer a decent-sized covered outdoor area. Re: How big is your alfresco/patio? 37Nov 22, 2009 9:36 am Our alfresco under the roof line is 5.0 x 2.3 (11.5m2). Once we move in, we'll extend it and add another 16.3 x 3.6 (approx 58m2). We're outdoorsy people, do most our living and entertaining outdoors.
