Re: And so it begins.....More problems!!! 99Nov 12, 2009 8:12 pm - if anyone asks me why my fridge is sticking out, I'm going to look contemptuously down my nose at them and say, "It's the latest thing, didn't you know????" Re: And so it begins.....More problems!!! 100Nov 13, 2009 11:21 am MagicJ themax Don't worry Magic J if you wait a few months I will be crying over the same thing. Our fridge cavity is not very deep, I think 650?? can't remember? so I can understand your frustration. DH and I have had this very conversation and realise we can't get the fridge we had planned on. I am sure after a little while you will not even notice it. Congrats on your 1000th post!!!!! Thanks, theMax!!! The really annoying thing is that if we had realised before, we could have set the fridge cavity a teeny bit back into the wall behind it when our structural changes were being done, pre-kitchen. We don't need a lot more depth, even 50mm would have made a difference . Now that everything is in, the builder reckons it would cost around $2k to change it - which is the cost of the fridge in the first place . Ah, well, hopefully you are right and will grow on me.......... I was looking at my fridge this morning and, if it were any further back the doors wouldn't open far enough for me to open the vege crisper drawers, same on the freezer side, there are 3 drawers and there is no way I could open those if the doors didn't go right back...so SuH is now happy I am not a brick expert, but rendering would be 1 option, it would be costly to do the entire house though.... 2 6721 Hi all, has anyone been ask to do the weeds in their property while in the middle of build?
