Have you seen one that has been in operation for a few years? To be honest i haven't, but it's not like a tiled surface that requires re-grouting. I would say it would only need the stone cleaned occasionally with a broom/brush to remove any scale etc that might build up... Davinci isn't online at the moment, it might be something that he can answer.... Re: Internal landscaping 6Dec 24, 2007 6:15 am This pot would look great sitting on a bed of white pebbles in your entry, slowly trickling water down the sides with a light in the bottom.
Under the white pebbles you would have a drainage system. This cane be done at a fairly reasonable price, if you sort in now. Off topic for a second….. found this on the net, I’ve got the book that has this picture in it. This is one of the nicest and cleanest court yard landscaping I have seen! It’s functional and practical. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Anyway…. I think it’s been done to death by now. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Internal landscaping 8Dec 24, 2007 8:33 am Unfortunately our entry is not big enough to pull off an urn/pot in it. So we'll wait and see... not looking good for the water feature either.....hubby keeps rolling his eyes.... (Well at least i got my refridgerated air con - so can't really complain ). Will keep trying though....
I can keep looking around for a backdrop for my ur outside in the alfresco though. I don't want render/ also thought about sandstone tiles, but can't be bothered with the mould/algae that will eventually come up, and the constant cleaning and occasional re-grounting that will be required. Have to look at some other options... I like your first pic Michelle, looks very much like Patio's style (Jamie Durie). Re: Internal landscaping 9Dec 24, 2007 10:15 am That’s my type of courtyard!!!!
No fuss, and looks great! This courts yard is on a high rise units veranda….. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Internal landscaping 11Dec 24, 2007 10:25 am shocker!

My feeling is that it would cost a bit to get done later - but nothing is impossible if you have the money. Better tell Hubby to roll his wallet out instead of rolling his eyes! Cheers Thanks. Yeh ideally that would have been good, but have progressed too far now. Hoping some well placed internal walls fixed up into the battens will provide some… 2 5404 Thank you alexp79 and gommeqld for your advice, that's very helpful, thanks 3 7935 3 10199 |
