I’d be more concerned about the frame drying properly before the walls are straightened and any plaster is fixed. This is where you could end up getting some movement if there is still moisture in the timber.

This is where you could end up getting some movement if there is still moisture in the timber. I agree I've seen frames of untreated pine in the weather for as much as 6 months. As long as the frame is dried out before plastering its OK. The roof is the last thing to go after the bricks etc. Re: Effects of Rain on our Timber Frame 6Dec 22, 2007 6:31 pm We have just had our frame put up, and the tiles put on just before it rained .. though the water can still get in because the tiles havent been properly finished .so will still get abit of water but not as much if i didnt have em.. phew This is 100% true.
