Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Ultimate Homes in Perth - Roof tile done 141Oct 18, 2009 10:12 pm That is great. We were really excited once we got our sign too as that signalled the end of the initial stage of building. We were down at the in-laws today in Wandi and took a little drive around Aubin Grove. It really is a nice suburb with the parks and open space. It will be good to follow your build too. I agree, the roof tiles and the brick colour go really well together, particularl with the lighter coloured fascia tying them in. Very nice! Bet you can't wait for your plastering to start! Remind me...what colour are your roof tiles - and are they Bristile ones. The colour looks like ours!!! I think it looks great with the lighter fascia and then red bricks BUILT with Homebuyer's Centre - Aussie Alfresco Games viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16668 Moved In - Dec 14th Painting all but done - Jan 11 Front Landscaping - Feb 8 Moved In PICS Page 43 Re: Ultimate Homes in Perth - Site clean #2 148Oct 20, 2009 11:09 pm Kirsada - yep Bristile Marseille graphite. Very similar to yours. Mrs Smith - you seem to have caught the good weather! Like they say, timing is everything. Just hope that the eaves and front render colour we have selected go together as well. Not much real progress today, just site clean #2 and also delivery of another load of sand. So hopefully the float will be started tomorrow. Harrisdale backyard finally done! Re: Ultimate Homes in Perth - Float started. 156Oct 23, 2009 10:15 am Jpeg - I think as we are only rendering the bottom 7 courses, it was probably not worth their while having to change bricks. The float was started yesterday however the other half does not think that they worked too hard as they only completed bedroom 4 and bedroom 5! I think the empty carton of beer in the kitchen helped to fuel her argument! However they are sweeping the rooms as they go (and there was a lot of mess from the brickies/roof carpenters and roof tilers). It them a few days to do ours too. Maybe they only started in the afternoon, following another house? You would think I would be tired of doing this by now. More work today. So now the laundry, powder, bathroom and linen cupboard is done. At this rate, I estimate that the render float will be done by Tuesday week!
