Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Kitchen Benchtops 2Jan 28, 2005 8:36 am I think I read somewhere that you can buy something to treat the granite so that it isn't so porous. I'll try to find it for you.
Read about the cleaner and sealer here: http://www.italmarble.com.au/htm/care&maintain.htm Re: Kitchen Benchtops 3Jan 30, 2005 10:27 pm Hi Bella,
Appreciate your advice. Although, the link provided doesn't seem to want to take me anywhere. Do you have the actual link handy, again? Re: Kitchen Benchtops 4Feb 01, 2005 12:16 pm Really?? It worked when I opened it.
Maybe go to www.italmarble.com.au and click enter and then go to the Care and Maintenance link at the top of the page. Re: Kitchen Benchtops 6Apr 27, 2006 8:15 pm Hi Mustang,
I too was concerned about granite in the kitchen so I opted for caesarstone. Same for the laundry. I did however choose granite for the bathrooms cos the look cannot be beaten. In fact marble is the sexiest of all but I was too much of a wimp to get that. I think that the bottom line is that if you are prepared to look after it then you can get almost any surface. Re: Kitchen Benchtops 7May 10, 2006 1:43 am Hi mustang,
I myself prefer darker color of granite. It hides the stains and looks better; and is colour neutral. checkout this granite benchtops; you might have an idea of how it will look like: http://www.diy-home-makeover.com/access ... /index.htm hope this helps. You can definitely set up corner cabinets to have the same gap as standard doors. 2 8601 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 3665 |
