I'm still really annoyed about our mortar. We deliberately specified yellow sand be used to give a slightly creamy natural mortar colour. They used red sand, and it is a dark yellow. Builder doesn't give a stuff. Husband doesn't give a stuff. I do!!!! Anyway, back on topic ... some pictures of our Austral Renovation Red bricks. Our delivery did not include enough of the darker bricks, and the brickies seemed to have issues following the mix instructions ... we only have one dark face brick in our entire back wall!!
