I have driven all around Berwick this morning looking at various addresses with Austral's Cantebury, Hawthorn and Latrobe, but still love Daniel Robertson's Hawthorn Black Blend the best. Arrrggghh!! Why does the nicest brick always have to be one of the most expensive! If anyone knows of any addresses with Austral's Hawthorn or Selkirks Tawney Heritage with off white motar, please PM me or post pics! The only Tawney Heritage we have seen has the natural mortar and it just accentuates the 'tan' look, which I would like to stay away from if at all possible! Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... Our delivery did not include enough of the darker bricks, and the brickies seemed to have issues following the mix instructions ... we only have one dark face brick in our entire back wall!! Pressed red seconds may be a better bet if you want it to look like the Renovation Red sample wall. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff151/melbournelyn/bricks1.jpg The worst looking patch of brickwork - smack bang in the front of the house! http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff151/melbournelyn/bricks2.jpg Rolled, yellow mortar. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff151/melbournelyn/bricks3.jpg No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed.
