No luck with the wall niche, never mind probably will go with the same idea re the picture.
I visited the the site today, there were about 3-4 homes which were vandilised( broken windows, walls kick in etc) hope one of those weren't yours! kids with nothing better to do!!
Must catch up for a beer once everyone is settled.

Hi Serge 44,

I'm building with Adenbrook and the design is the Spence (which is now called the Trenton).
It's a low set house, my partner and I wanted to go two storeys but it was too expensive.
also, it doesn't help that I didn't win the big OZ lotto draw...

Yeah, a couple of beers would be nice once the house is complete and I've moved in.

We are also building the Trenton in the Bellflower Estate, all seems to be going fine and progressing well.
We decided to go for the upgrade, higher ceilings etc.
My only niggle would be the triangular wasted space in the hallway by the internal garage door entry, trying to get Adenbrook to build a wall niche in there as a feature, we shall see how that eventuates.

Yes, I know what you mean about the little triangular space... we thought about converting it into a broom cupboard, but thought that it would look weird as you entered the house... we'll probably hang a picture on that wall or something...

We went to check our house on the weekend and our door was split it would seem that they tried to break in as there is a nail stuck in the door where they have tried to break the lock...
thankfully they have not done any other damage to the house.

I bet you it was the same tossers that ripped 100+ lomandra plants out of the nature strips in stage 2 about 2 weeks back. capital punishment would deter them

the kids now have something better to do - a visit to the Magistrate next month

news reports indicated that every sheet in one house was damaged and there other two didn't fare much better.

would be great to see some gaol time for these tools but the sob story about being <insert excuse of choice> is bound to come out.

Man I know I was a ratbag as a kid but This is a new level of scum. I only hope they make an example of them

Went out past our block today and heaps of action,

Plumbers onsite and what I can only presume was the concreters getting preped for boxing the slab. We also have little stakes around the perimeter with rooms and stuff written on them from the surveyers. Still no sign though

The bad part is that I drive past the estate almost daily to get to work so its so easy to keep going and having a look, and Im afraid that this is not a good habit

Building with Clarendon Lot 191. About 8 weeks left ( fingers crossed ) :z:

Sold our other house and settlement is 28th Sept , so timing should be just
right , if all goes to plan.

ring the telstra smart community dedicated line. AFAICT there is a rebate for the first 12 or 24 months for telstra products. gotta ring to get the good oil though

let me know how you go - I'm still aways off needing even the phone number
