Looking through Homes for Sale in the newspaper I see magnificent abodes. Usually country estates (but not too grand) seemingly with everything a country-loving couple could wish for. All the cliches crowd in - privacy, river bank, kangaroos grazing, a mass of bird colour so ... why are they selling?
I wonder whether it's got something to do with the dream realised. Nothing left. Perfection is not the human lot?
So. Perhaps it's best in this house game not to have too much dough so you've always got that extension to dream of and when it's achieved you'll be near dead anyway so it doesn't really matter that you're without aim or purpose?
