Kelly its so good to hear that your sample of 2 pack is holding up well. The kitchen is just taking forever for me to make a firm decision on. We are about to repaint the outdoor verandah railings and after a trip to bunnings for colour cards we decided on the colour in one afternoon. (A modern looking cool brown not mission brown) Anything to do with the kitchen however and its indecision central. Re: Polytech doors? 9Aug 16, 2010 3:38 pm My kitchen reno was finished 2 days ago, just doors and benchtops. I have 2 pack doors and Polytech blue pearl gloss benchtops. I thought I wanted the textured finish but when I saw the sample it looked "dead" compared to the gloss. Looks fantastic but on looking across the bench with the sun on it today I can see lots of scratches after preparing only one meal! I think we will have to place all dishes etc for cooking on a cloth to safeguard the bench. I really thought it would be more hardy and I have been so careful. Will have to close the blinds! I was referring to the polytec gloss finish bench. I'm even worried about putting my metal biscuit tray on the bench now.
