I might have to come over and check out that pool when you move in.. Re: Those building in Laurimar 10Jul 15, 2009 3:48 pm Hi, First of all, I would like to say thank you to this forum. I've been reading this forum for a quite bit of time and just now have decided to post. This forum is great. A lot of interesting and useful information I have found here so far. We are building in the Yangoora Wells as well and are in the process of finalizing the contract. Re: Those building in Laurimar 11Jul 15, 2009 4:21 pm No worries Andy. The problem is though you may not be seeing much depending on how the budget goes with the house Yev / Dikan, I hope my wife doesn't read the forum as we are building it ourselves, and she will automatically look at your houses as "pacing partners" !! Quite a few homes have popped up along Elliot Avenue recently. Blog is now up - http://www.jbdave.blogspot.com/ Re: Those building in Laurimar 12Jul 15, 2009 5:04 pm jbdave No worries Andy. The problem is though you may not be seeing much depending on how the budget goes with the house I hope you'll set your budget priorities right. And just as a reminder - the main priority is the pool Re: Those building in Laurimar 13Jul 15, 2009 5:26 pm Hehe, I think that's the wife's point of view. Who needs a kitchen when you can go for a swim WIth regards to the pool, I am going to wait until lock up to make a decision on it. I am pouring the blinding concrete under the slab to allow it to be built at a later stage (so I don't have to underpin my footings later). At lock up stage I can forecast exactly how much the house will cost to complete and therefore see if I have money left for a pool.
