We had to change the frontage of the house so we didn't have the garage on the corner. We should get a verbal approval this week, then it should be all systems go. Just frantically trying to get the shed decked out at present. Gavin was fantastic with the small job he did around our shed too. I'm glad to have recommended them to you. 2011 Home Sweet Home Handover 03 September 2010 PCI 27August 2010 Plumber 20August 2010 Electrician 19August 2010 Painting 04 August 2010 Cabinets 13Jul2010 Lockup 23June Frame 20April slab 1Mar10 Re: Building in SA! 677Jul 13, 2009 3:03 pm Paid $950 deposit for soil tests two weeks ago, emailed sales consultant last night, he wrote back saying he had ordered everything and was just waiting for the results. After being stuffed around by our last builder for 6 months the 2 week wait so far has felt like ages. I just wanna get things moving, get the plan, get the fixed price, get the finance, get approval and build to the sky.

Re: Building in SA! 680Jul 13, 2009 10:23 pm hoffdog Question out there for anyone. Was legislation passed recently that said council had to approve new homes within 4 weeks of them being submitted. Is this correct or am I dreaming. Have a look at http://www.planning.sa.gov.au/index.cfm ... 0349BECE54 Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed. Looks like… 0 11755 Elvis has left the building... The site supervisor quit after 2 month on the project. I guess he was just instructed to bark at people, but didn't like when he was… 26 21497 |
