I'd be saying deck it with the 'fillin' saving, add some fish and a pump, they will look after the water quality and you could make some grow beds and plant some edible things in them. Re: Closing off swimming pool 12Jul 05, 2009 4:04 pm Ive been thinking of doing a reed be down the dead side of the house, with the reed bed all your shower and sink water (not the kitchen sink) goes in one end as grey water and gets filtered to use on the garden as it passes through. Im also toying with the idea of putting in a home made underground water tank down the dead side of the house, this is my fave option at the moment, just think of all that water. Connected to an outside tap I could even start washing my truck again..... The last home I lived in didn't have a pool and when i went to sell it the agents were not happy, even telling me to put one in to sell the place.
