Our idea was to have a fence between the two properties that could be opened up when we want to have a shared function and closed when we'd prefer more privacy. In my head I was thinking of something like a concertina door...just on a bigger scale. I've had a look at sliding gates but the ones I've seen mean we could have, at most, only half of the fence open. Anyone seen something that they think might fit the purpose? Half a fence open sounds good though. Just wanted to say how nice to have built next door to your sister. I would love that.. I have 2 sisters, one in Melbourne and one has just moved to Rome!
