Still, let know what you can get it for in Metro area. Cheers KW......... “It's just as unpleasant to get more than you bargain for as to get less” George Bernard Shaw. Re: Cheap temporary fencing required..anyone know of any? 15Jun 23, 2009 6:35 pm King willy Yes, really for the sake of making the fence myself, forget it. I like you dont want to shell out for nothing. Still, let know what you can get it for in Metro area. Cheers KW......... It doesnt look like the prices are good.....I rang most of the ones on my list...i called around 11 and they are so VARIED. Some quoted me over 1500 for round 12-18 mnths, some had ridiculous prices for even 6 months. The cheapest quote I got for maximum 18 months, was $1400. For 12 months: $ 1100. This is for 92 metres. And these are metro melbourne. Then there are some slighly used damaged ones you can buy for 1400 too, so still deciding what way to go. If we make them or buy them second hand, im selling them after I finish using them Re: Cheap temporary fencing required..anyone know of any? 18Jun 23, 2009 8:02 pm borg also the bin cost me 20 bucks I used a pallet and some chicken wire to make a ******* rubbish cage. Wasn't great but served its purpose and was easy to lift and dump into a skip. I got my temp fence from VTF, was about $300 from memory for 6mths and about 20m? Not cheap but it was a council requirement. My hire is almost expired so thinking of getting rid of it as soon as I'm at lockup and just using some old shadecloth/chickenwire I got laying about to seal off the front from the street. Re: Cheap temporary fencing required..anyone know of any? 19Jun 23, 2009 8:05 pm post cost 75 for 10. I bought 20. I used a post hammer. Made the job so easy very easy in fact. Spaced the post 3.3 meters apart. I got the fencing cheap through a contact however you can get them from ebay now and again. In fact i sold some myself on ebay. A roll retains for arounnd 100 per ten meters. But look around for second hand stuff. If you buy post make sure you get 2.4 that way you can get them 600mm into the ground. I had an old shower unit that broke on me and when I took it off, there were only 2 water pipes, instead of the normal 2 water pipes and a shower head pipe.
