Youll get what you pay for, and as you might get close to that look, things like your replica-marble laminate benchtop will look really fake and 'wannabe'. No offense, but if you want to achieve the look, youll have to pay for it. Simple as that, but you may be close to it! Built the Atlantique 37 Mk2 with Carlisle Homes - WE'RE IN!! What I really think is that the 'rich' decor can only be achieved if the quality finishes and fittings are included. Things like paint colour etc definitely contribute to that 'rich' feel, but something like the laminate benchtop netadelle is thinking of, ruins the look and is too much of an imitation of marble. I do like the colour selections, but its not extravagant and 'expensive', sorry to say, to be classed as a 'rich' look. But who am I to say that you cant have the look? Go for it, I say! The bathrooms by comparisson in the more upmarket houses have HUGE tiles that are rectified (thereby having very little grout lines) and super glossy, with one whole wall of a different tile, that is what I was trying to come up with, something that would emulate that. I figured I can't change the bathroom tiles easily after handover, but I can change the kitchen benchtop relatively easily if ever we should win lotto It can be my 15 year plan, to save up for a "real" stone/marble kitchen benchtop No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6631 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11577 Interested in getting either the Polytec Boston Oak or Palace Peak for kitchen cabinets. Looking at the Boston Oak ones, it appears that the colour varies significantly… 0 9167 |
