I have seen some lights around, Bunnings should have them, that collect the suns rays in a solar panel which is connected to a light via a cable.

Wouldn't opening the window on a sunny day be easier Seriously There are some on going costs as the solar charged battery will eventualy need replaceing but it is certainly a low implmnetation costs option.
