Welcome aboard.
With a brother in law who's a sparky and myself being in IT since the 70's and PM'ing many cabling projects - it'll be great to hear your input.

Before your first post. Glade to have you here, I think you will be good to have around. Welcome…..have fun! ![]() Must have scared that guy off!!!! He hasn’t been back since!!! ![]() Haha! No I'm still around. The main reason I joined this forum was to ask a question about insulation (already done in the appropriate section) and Ive since been busy in the ceiling putting in the new insulation before the weather warmed up again (we had a week or so of cool and cloudy days in Sydney so I took advantage of it). I rang a few places for quotes and was surprised at how cheap the labour costs were for installation of insulation - the expensive part seems to be the labour to remove the old loose-fill insulation - over $1000! I'll still be around here for some time I expect, as I research more for the future KDR of this house which we expect to do in 5-10 years (I like to thoroughly research anything and everything before I commit). A month ago I was chatting to a mate of a mate who is currently in the process of KDR (owner builder) and he's already told me alot of information based on his progress (and mistakes)...
