Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 May 27, 2009 10:29 pm Hi - I'm looking at using quartzon as a pool interior finish. Has anyone got an idea how much it will cost? My pool is around 10x4m. I would love to do full tiling but the costs are prohibitive. Re: Pool - Quartzon 2Aug 02, 2009 3:38 pm Hi, I am just wondering, did you end up finding out about the prices for Quartzon? I like the royal blue colour. White beach is the cheapest, royal blue one of the more expensive. As a rough estimate for a standard pool the cheapest (white beach) is about $2000, the more expensive royal blue or similar about $4000. This obviously excludes any preparation work to apply which will change depending on your pools condition. ie if it needs to be sand blasted, acid washed, etc Not sure if a fibreglass pool differs from concrete, mine is concrete. Pebblecrete is roughly the same cost and much of a muchness. It is a little more course and less colour range then quartzon but I've also heard because its a natural material it doesnt affect the water as much as quartzon (ie. PH stability, etc). Depends on who you talk to I guess. Hi everyone, Looking for some advise. We are about to build an above ground pool in our backyard.
