So we have never had stairs before and 1 thing I know about them is you can no longer build them with the wire rung inbetween as kids can fit there heads through them. But what we were thinking is that kids can also use the horizontal rungs as a ladder to climb. See pic below.
So I imagined that this vertical option was really the only option when you have children in your house.
Does anyone have kids and stairs that they can enlighten me to wheather this is a concern or do kids not see it this way.
Of course I will not be encouraging or letting DS play on the stairs but he is part monkey and he will climb at any invitation.
What are your thoughts.
