Said he went to one house where the unit had been for 4 years only to discover it hadn't been commissioned as per the installation instructions at the time of installation, and the owners had been using just the gas the whole time! Our builder, Meletis Homes, said they didn't know they had to be commissioned but damn straight will be paying our bill for the Rheem guy accordingly...
