You have to put it together yourself which I found impossible because it tangles so easily. So I decided to glue the midsummer night material around the lampshade instead. I'm not convinced its ideal but I didn't want to waste the fabric. Just had a look at Tord Boontje on ebay, whoooeee they aren't cheap are they? I am going to have a go at making my own version, using vellum and a cuttlebug machine. Only cost me $10 in materials to have a go and I borrowed the flower, butterfly, leaves die cutters off a friend. I have the machine but not many dies. Love your office...!! I have grand plans for ours, but I think it'll be a few years before we can justify throwing any money at it, too many other things to finish first. Re: A few final touches 18May 15, 2009 8:16 pm Dragonfly If you want some of my left over Tord Boontje material I am happy to send it to you. Let me know how much you want for the shade. I purchased it from the US so didn't pay the AUD price. Even so it wasn't cheap but I'm happy to share. Oh what a lovely offer, thankyou, but you should keep it, i'm sure you'll find a use for it on another project down the track. I'm a bit of a "make it myself" chick, anything I see that I like, I like to have a crack at it myself. It won't be quite like the Boontje one, more my own interpretation. Could be interesting! It's for my two year old's room, it's getting a coat of paint next weekend. Thanks Re: A few final touches 20May 16, 2009 12:13 pm no probs. I would imagine a good pair of scissors, some imagination and some skills in craft would do the job. The Boontje is only made of paper (although they say you can wash it ). Good luck ... love to see if when you are finished. i would suggest nothing is unreasonable for PCI. we did all sorts, including checking the hot water, checking all the GPO's had power, testing that the showers were… 9 98681 Hi, I am approaching end of the build.
