Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 May 05, 2009 9:27 pm Hello All I plan to move in our new house by this weekend. I want to install deadlocks to some of the external doors and i left this to be done after handover. I plan to buy the deadlocks from Bunning's and get someone to install them. So, can anyone suggest a trady who can provide this service in South Morang (Melbourne) It will be awesome if any of you can suggest someone whom you have used before. Any help in this regards is much appreciated. I also want to get the bathroom accessories (toilet roll holder, towel rails etc) installed. So, may i call out for a suggestion for tradies for this service as well Thanks again Re: Deadlocks installation ...Important 3May 06, 2009 12:15 am No not stupid at all. I am in the south east and I don't know anyone sorry. But do a search for a locksmith as I think that's who you need for this. Or you could try a handyman service as they would do the fittings on the walls too. Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. Re: Deadlocks installation ...Important 4May 06, 2009 12:17 am not stupid HIH, I just think the numbers of ppl who would know someone who can install a deadlock (would that be a locksmith?) in South Morang might be minimal here that's all! Have you tried service central dot com.au? That's what we did when we needed to install our ones. You list your job/s and tradies who are interested in the job get in contact with you. easy peasy. The handyman job for installing the towel rails would be suitable for this too. Re: Deadlocks installation ...Important 6May 06, 2009 12:42 am Bunnings has a service called Install Assist and they are available to install and assemble products purchased from Bunnings. You can ask someone at Bunnings for their number. It's a 1300 number so I believe they do have installers located Australia wide.
