We've chosen quite a few upgrades and haven't really left out anything significant. What sort of upgrades/features are you having to get the cost up so high? Double story? Yup, trying to get it down to $10K, the $11K to $12K was the indicative rate. Our house block is only 13metres wide, and being in the bayside area means that the Bayside regs kills our chances of using a volume builders home - hence going for custom build. Yup its double storey also. Fair enough, double story and a custom builder = $$$$. Good luck, and most importantly, have fun!
