Thanks. If you have a single storey house with a tiled roof then you can pretty much do anything after you move in (it's just a bit more effort). If you want to be of some help without really outlaying any money for anything at this stage then consider either drilling some big (bigger than a 20c peice, perhaps) holes in noggins or if you can roll them onto their sides where every you may want to run any cabling... If you have a 2 storey house then things are not so easy... Thanks Rod! Perhaps I can do anything about home theatre afterwards as mine is single storey.... Thanks. I'm just wondering why the tiled roof is easier than colorbond roof? Do you have more space in the ceiling or is there some other reason? Re: Postpone our home theatre plan 8Apr 17, 2009 9:45 pm It is easier as when you get to the outside walls (external) you can lift the tiles to make it easy to get cables down the wall. You cant lift a sheet of colorbond If all the cables are in internal walls then this is a little less of an issue. It is still possible but a lot more work and a bit more expensive as there is more time / energy /effort involved. I'll be glad to get rid of satellite though and go back to cable in the new house... sick of not getting all the fta channels in the one box! i thought the flipped plan initially but bec i want narrow pathway from entry to dining (dont like bend), also cannot fit the… 7 17287 5 10494 Hi, Seeking volume or semi-custom builder in victoria(east), which have existing double story wide floor plans.
