Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 06, 2024 10:06 am Our construction is commencing very soon. It will be built by a private custom builder who has built around 50 houses. We will ensure all stage payments are paid promptly by the bank and will be as helpful as possible to the builder. We are told by various friends and neighbors that genuinely or intentionally the builder will delay the work - frustrate you and deliver the poor quality and impose variations. Kitchen, Plumbing, Electrical and final handover. The project was supposed to be delivered in six months it was promised when we signed. Not sure if this will happen. Could you please educate us and help us with "how to deal with delays and variations".
