My holes are around 450mm deep which I'll put a 200mm stirrup into. The bottom of these holes seem firm enough. However, the last hole seems to have some wet, soft clay at the bottom. How should I approach this? Keep digging down? Drop some aggregate in? Or just put the concrete in? PM me your email. Cheers Simeon 1 12285  there is a standard besser block wall pdf somewhere online with footing sizes, also have a look at dincel. 1 4614 Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing.
