Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 26, 2023 11:28 am Hi, I’m in the process of installing a new bath screen, It is 1500mm x 700mm x10mm, when I purchased it, it came with the glass and 2 wall mounting clips, I have installed the 2 mounting clips and am up to the stage of fitting the glass, My question is do I fit the glass directly on top of the bath or is the something that I am supposed to put under it? Cheers. That way the glass isn't touching the bath it's only the flexible silicone that joins the two. Glass installers have small clear Packers that they install under the glass to hold it up as they fix the glass in place. It gets cut and left in place under the silicone. If you haven't got the special packers you can just pack the very end and then silicone just up to it, then wait for the silicone to cure, remove the packers and compete the silicone.
