I need to remove the security screen to change the mesh. Looks like this is from A&L windows (installed over a decade ago). Do I need to remove the screw and plate first? (photo attached).
I have watched a few YouTube video (still unsure). Reached out to A&L windows weeks ago, but no response yet.

Best I can say is to remove an A&L flyscreen don't be afraid to distort the frame almost like a trapezium. It doesn't take a lot of force but you are trying to make the width or height smaller that the opening.
