Drainage Problem

Hi all,
I have discovered water pooling against a small section of the back of house and concrete slab.
House is 20 years old.

It's only occured this year on certain days where we have a huge downpour.
It pools in a 2 x 2 metre area.
The area is a little lower than the grassed area.

Any ideas how to fix this, I'm sure it can't be good long term?

Is my first step to get some soil and bring it up to the same level as all the grassed area close to it?

Do I need to install some type of drainage under the area?

Is this a job for a gardener or could I do it myself?
