It’s a situation where the house is bulldozed and too much money has already gone into the build such as deposit, tapeware, floorboards, stone so too late to back out. Just such a horrible situation and because they stuffed up I’m now suffering. That's why they structure it so you demolish the house first. There's no going back after that. That's the last thing we advise clients to do The contract isn't locked in at all, as you have found out the hard way LOL, it's always someone else's fault...but clients always pay Bad luck Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs Re: Contract 8Dec 05, 2022 2:08 pm Rebeccasaunders My initial contract had a fixed rate which meant it was locked in. Due to them stuffing up the unused easement meant I couldn’t get a building permit to present to the banks to get unconditional finance and based on this the contract ended and a new one with increased cost applied. "fixed rate" lol i guess you've not been following what's been happening with "fixed rate" contracts for the last 3 years? If it wasn't the easement, it would be something else. Just take a look around here, on the various Metricon disgruntled FB pages etc. Trust me, your contract was never intended to stay fixed. Dark matter scientist, can breathe underwater, mind reader and can freeze matter just by willing it. Trust me, its in my sig. You talk about deletions, are they variations or PS and PC adjustments? pleas list them 1 17442 12 5913 The best advice is for you to get a competent building consultant to guide you through your build 7 5122 |
