where are you planning to build? there are a lot of inform homes in our estate. I like the exteriors of their homes but not the internal layouts. Re: inform Homes any comments ? 6Aug 29, 2007 8:58 pm Toorak Rd has Seasons (now closed) and the Blade (we didn't like this one at all, looked cheap), where New St Brighton is the Edge - we liked downstairs but not the upstairs, very pokey we thought..
(been kicking tires for a while ) was comparing Inform with NSD so it was cool to see a thread there. Have you had any feedback on build quality or service as the two sales people we met were less than inspirational - 1 lady was outright rude commenting to another couple how people show up on a Sunday without an appointment - that was us, sorry just wanted to buy a house anywho, I think overall Inform are meeting our expectations l -despite trying everything to lose our business by testing our patience, patronising and increasing the price without notice - time will tell over the next week or so if we choose them. A friend suggested Stonehenge(?) but I believe they are very exy, will give them a call and look into a Plan B if we can not agree with Infomr- we asked Inform to price up changes on the design and I suspect (hope not) the response $$ will be enthusiastic ... Re: inform Homes any comments ? 7Aug 29, 2007 9:20 pm Sorry, Blade is right.
quality of the home is OK. My neighbor commented that they needed some prompting with a few things, no more than usual though. I think the other builder you were thinking of was stonehaven rather than stonehenge. Stonehaven is a more custom builder than Inform who aren't too keen moving away from their base designs (we tried). We weren't overwelmed with their sales staff either. Mind you, most of the custom builders that we conacted either didn't fill us with greaat levels of confidence or didn't bother to call us back to arrange an appointment after leaving our details and specifically asking to be contacted to make an appointment (stonehaven was one of these) where are you planning to build, I may have some other suggestions. In the price range you are looking at I think you should consider custom. Why not get exactly what you want? Re: inform Homes any comments ? 9Nov 10, 2007 4:36 pm Hi Steveo,
Just wondering how you have progressed with your decision with Inform Design. As we are in the builder selection stage atm as well, we have so far found that they are not flexible with any changes after signing of the contract - We feel this may be a detriment if a change in design - no matter how small is required. Re: inform Homes any comments ? 10Nov 10, 2007 8:37 pm have landscaped one inform house in camberwell from the outside they look great but the inside looked quite inpractical
i layed a marble driveway about 5 doors down from the new st inform house in brighton again outside looks great but internals have a lot to be desired Da Vinci Outdoor Living Architectural landscaping http://www.davincioutdoor.com Re: inform Homes any comments ? 11Nov 11, 2007 12:52 pm We eneded up moving away from inform - and are glad we did ! * Are we there yet ?
