Great job documenting it all, and really helpful for someone just starting their first build. I'm aiming to document our upcoming build here too. Wasn't sure about some of your colour selections as you went along but damn did it turn out looking good. I'm really not looking forward to the stress of colour selection.. So much pressure. Also, that TREX decking looks amazing and I think I'll look to use the same when the time comes. You must be stoked with how its all come out. Building a solar passive home in Murrumbateman, NSW. Hahahahah I wasn’t sure about the selections as i went along either ! Yeah definitely absolutely wrapped with it… I learnt heaps on this forum on my first build so i try to give back hoping someone may gain or just enjoy watching the progress, hence the reason why I keep the content going. Best advice i can give you is come here to read, read and read . Know your absolute budget and then wind that amount back for your build because you will be dancing on the edge of the cap in no time , everything and i mean everything turns out to be at least 20 to 30% and sometimes more then what you thought you would spend. When in construction don’t stress over small things, let them do what they have to do and pick your battles. We are on track to finish before xmas if the weather holds up. A photo i took this afternoon after the sprayed concrete received a 2nd coating of sealer.
