You don't represent rhe entirety of the profession. There's a difference, or do you not get the difference? Do we chalk that up to your poor comprehension again? Society trusts doctors too. How many have killed patients through stupidity and neglect? THERE ARE DOCTORS IN BOLIVIA GIVING PEOPLE BLEACH FOR COVID. DOCTORS!!!! You see any qualification you hold still doesn't translate to you not being a clown. I've given you some great examples above. Irrefutable evidence of it actually. I don't think anyone would trust an engineer who can't do basic maths. Would you? I think we all know the answer to that one. Care to answer any of my prior questions? Didn't think so, because any answer you'd give would betray your intelligence. Not that that needs much more betraying, Mr "50c per sq meter per week" lol. Like I said, your offer is rejected on the grounds that I enjoy my anonymity from you, you greasy clown lol. To be honest you could hold 30 degrees and you'd still be a clown. You've been wealing out from answering questions for several years mate. I get sero benefit from learning inf about your qualifications. There is litterally zero interest for me. Your strawman falls over. Here's a few snips from vector works that pretty much mirrors my sentiments, but by other engineers. Clown. However in my experience of vectorworks forums is that they dont remove posts "that tell it the way it is", they remove incoherent rants and incorrect information. They also remove such members. Makes sense don't you think? There are engineers, designers and architects in equal measures there, because they all use the software and collaborate. It's how normal people do things. Maybe you'd like to move to the next question around meta/fb getting into the building game? Because THAT really is a bit of a doozy to make sense of. Re: Building price increases 80Nov 30, 2021 11:44 am MissChilli Hi, new here and considering a knock down rebuild in NSW. I keep reading about delays and increases in build prices due to Covid and supply chain issues. Anyone know if this is expected to continue? By the time we start our build journey it would probably be end of 2022 or even start of 2023. Would supply issue be better by then? Any insights welcome! Hi Misschilli It’s hard to tell when supply will normalize. A guesstimate is material supplies will continue to trickle in at these diminished levels for the next several months. The BBC reports that there’s been a surge of Covid cases in Europe. It is worth noting that a lot of construction materials used in Australia are imported from Europe. So we may expect the supply chain to continue to be affected. I guess with my construction law hat on, you can manage these risks in your contract. You want to have clauses on Delay, which lays out your rights (like liquidated damages). I'd stay away from the HIA or the MBA contracts. They're made to help the Builder. It may also be worth considering to engage a specialist construction lawyer in your area. They can give your contract a thorough Review, and advise you on how to administer the contract so as to minimise your risks. Cheers, John Get sound legal advice.
