Re: Incorrect concrete pad level where water tank sits 3Oct 17, 2021 4:24 pm I would need to see the hydraulic plan to comment fully but a lower tank level aids the inflow hydrostatics if it is a charged system which I assume it is due to their being a hydraulic plan. A charged RWT system only relates to the hydraulic head anyway which factors the top of the tank...not the bottom. For the hydraulic engineer to say "must be" can only relate to the stormwater but this is irrelevant as the overflow pipe will self charge plus the stormwater system still needs to be laid and sloped irrespective of there being a tank. 3in1 Supadiverta. But if the same size tank was used and base lowered, then consequently top of tank & HH is lowered Re: Incorrect concrete pad level where water tank sits 5Oct 17, 2021 5:55 pm There is more HH when relating to a charged RWT system (from gutter to top of tank or to the water level if plumbed with a Supadiverta system). This is different to a (possible but unlikely) charged stormwater system. The "must be" notation is strange if there was no reason for it. 3in1 Supadiverta. Constant What you have posted isn't really readable and also needs to be compared to your architectural plans. Happy to have a look if you email me at 1 8496 If you can calculate the reasonable charged head from let's say 100mm below the gutter to the top of where the vertical riser's horizontal discharge pipe will be, that… 11 17593 Building Standards; Getting It Right! Thank you for the generous offer. I need to get the plumber out to give me an explanation. As mentioned I haven't seen any rain water discharge from pipes 1& 3. It… 7 10904 |
