I had kind, genuine people pm me with feedback and opinions. I’m 24, just bought my first home, obviously just seeking assistance and I guess people enjoy humiliating others. I won’t be asking anything else on this platform as it honestly has just been embarrassing. Wishing everyone all the best. Didn't mean to make fun of you. I was just laughing at the picture posted. I wanted to take a bit more time to reply as i have a friend who actually has a powder room just across the island of the kitchen but it's about 3 m away. However it's not a full bathroom, just has a toilet and a sink. Their unspoken rule is that it is the guest can only do "small" business not the "big" one, because you can imagine you don't want any unwanted smell coming out when you are cooking. But your dining room is also near by, so I'm not sure how often you will have people over, but i can imaging it can be a bit disrupting and you might want to suggest people going upstairs most of the time and keep this full bathroom toilet as an "emergency" , but I would not want to delete the toilet, once you've built you don't want to regret not having one , and adding one later would be a lot of troubles. That's my 2 cents, good luck with your built, and that's great you have such an opportunity to build at such a young age, hopefully no offense taken. Re: Toilet in Kitchen? 10Oct 01, 2021 10:53 am Yes, as per above. We weren't taking the pi$$ out of you pardon the pun , but laughing more at saveH2O's pic. I still think posting up a floorplan as per my original post would get you some informed options. Straight off, your opening post saying you have a toilet 1m away from the island bench sounds unusual to say the least unless there is a wall between of course. Not being able to differentiate between people having a bit of fun over people having fun at your expense, that's also on you. Deciding to not participate in a community because of those two things, still on you. Getting upset or "humiliated" over *hand waving* THIS? Yeah, they build 24 years old differently these days, don't they? congratulations on being 24 and entering the market though. That's a huge achievement these days.
