Hello All,
I am planning to build a double storey custom house (37 squares on a 450sqm block) in Sydney.
And what I have found is alot of custom home builders and even the project home builders are recommending "Hebel" panels instead of Brick Veneer.
Few of the reasons quoted are rendering, time to build, cost of labour, ease of patching/maintenance, sound proofing etc.
However, my own research shows advantages and disadvantages.
Has anyone build or been living in Hebel panel house?
What has been the experience? specially when it rains profusely or high-winds etc.
I am interested in durability, maintenance and overall feel.
Would be best to know if someone has been living for at least 5 years.
Happy to take the thoughts from those who has been building using Hebel as well.
