Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 23, 2021 3:58 pm Hi all, Wondering what is a reasonable price expectation to have for a 220 to 250sqm two-storey knockdown rebuild in 2021? Located in Sydney's St George region. I have spoken with one builder (R) who has advised that with site cost their two storeys would range from $580,000 to $700,000 with site costs (Piering, drop edge beam, hydraulics if required etc). I was hoping that they would have come in slightly less than that, which is a shame. I would have thought you could still get a home built for around $450,000 turn-key with site costs, council fees etc.. Am I dreaming? Are there any builders in this range? Loads of questions and it's a shame we can't go to a homeworld to chat with everyone.
