We have the same balcony and pillars as it, but we have grey cladding on the side and a grey roof. They don't stock that roof tile colour anymore and there was no record of the display colours so we couldn't match it. Is your kitchen up yet? What render colour did you pick?
Woodward Way is great, I can see why you would use it as inspiration. That upgrade price isn't too bad, it cost us a couple of grand to add render to the front of ours. The colour I chose is 'spatial' and looks completely different in different light so if its wrong I am going to be very, very sad. Kitchen is done apart from floor, appliances and pantry fit out. Lucky to love all of our tile and cabinetry choices so far. Make sure to check all of your colour choices as you go along!
How did you go? Is the render done? Are you on Instagram? Re: Haymes Grey 14Jul 26, 2021 2:38 pm Hi Cupcake, Yes, its all done now and we are in! I will take some photos of our cladding if you like. We have Greyology 1 on our gable and Surfmist on our main cladding. If you are wanting to change your colour I would suggest doing everything you can to convince your CRC to change it in your contract now. It is such a pain to do things post-handover and hard to get trades. And you will probably just want most things done. There is no reason why they can't update your colour selection doc at this stage. Otherwise, don't get it painted as I would imagine the white will have a grey undertone and you won't like it anyway? Countrybuilds I wanted to change the weatherboard colour, but they wouldn't let us. Do you have any regrets? Do you have any regrets?[/quote:xxxzlgbd] Oh, I'm sorry they wouldn't let you change. I was worried about our render but the colour turned out well. I am happy with all of my colours really. They painted our post incorrectly but I didn't point it out as I liked it better than what I chose! There are a few things I would have done if I had a higher budget, but the reality is I didn't! I would have fit a study in if I had known working from home was going to go on forever, and an extra powder room. I also would have got the stone extended in the laundry and more overheads. But I am happy with what we ended up with. Apart from your weatherboards how are you with your choices?
