If your bottom cabinets and floor are both dark, I suggest going with a lighter paint color or introduce more lightness or light colors so it won't be overpowered by the dark colors. My floor in the kitchen, dining, etc will be a natural hickory engineered timber. My bathrooms will have cinder coloured stone look tiles. The walls will be painted in white on white.
