I want to update the current lights to something like this attached- white metal oyster led Friend said it looks too 'lacey'. Can I ask peoples opinions? I thought it looked quite coastal. The white metal oyster LED lights sound like they could work for that. It's about what you like and what looks good in your room. I prefer chandeliers for my place; they feel special to me. Before, I had lights like what you're talking about, but I switched to a chandelier. I picked a big, black, 16-light chandelier from the seus lighting staircase chandelier collection. It was $1400, but it changed how my kitchen looks. It might be a bit big for a lounge with a low ceiling, but it's something to consider.
