Anyone have a bedroom/s with obscured glazing and no ability to open up to 1.7m above floor? Would love some feedback on this as our Council have said all our bedrooms must have this and we are concerned it will feel dark, cramped and stuffy. Thanks!

Would be interested to know what. We tried going back asking if we could use screening instead but Council said they don't allow that - only obscured glazing.
End of the day we decided to just go with it. We hit the various forums, FB groups etc and the feedback from others that had it suggested it's actually not a bad thing in a bedroom - gives privacy, diffuses the light and the higher opening windows helps get rid of hot air in summer better.

The standard is all that matters, you can achieve it in many ways as I said and that is pretty much the law. And you can have an opening window below 1700.
