Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: Window flyscreen clip replacement 3Mar 31, 2021 7:49 am arcadelt Rustynails I have no idea what they are called or how to replace them. Is there an easy fix, can you get these anywhere? Or is there a better option as these things are a terrible design. Are there any manufacturer stickers on any of the windows? They look pretty proprietary, so that might be your best source. Otherwise you could just drill out the pop rivets and replace them with something more easily obtainable at a hardware store. Thanks for that, no stickers for manufacture that I can seen unfortunately. Any ideas on what would be a good replacement for these, I have not seen anything like them in the hardware store. Re: Window flyscreen clip replacement 5Mar 31, 2021 3:14 pm Rustynails Hi Those are not flyscreen clips, it's a flyscreen finger pull repurposed. It looks UGLY. This is what you need. They come in 2 depths, you may need the deeper one. Bunnings!!! Cut the rivet off with pincers, the clip should fit using a screw into the top rivet hole. Make sure you use a the right size screw I suggest a screw gauge 6 but make sure it fits the hole and holds the screen. I am not sure why you appear to need the clip, but this will replace the makeshift one.
