I understand the Supreme Touch will cost more than the Highbury Place but has longer warranty. I was given the suggestion that I should spend the money upgrading my ground floor laminate floor (from 8.3mm to 12.3mm) and save by choosing a more budget product on first floor as less time spent in bedrooms. What's your opinion on those two types of carpet? Is it a huge price difference? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance. I actually don't know these carpets. We may have them under a different name. But with my experience the dearest ones hold more fibre, which means they are denser. I always recommend a12mm laminate if possible only due the fact that is drums less when walking on in boots and hard sole shoes and is a sturdier laminate. If your not using the bedrooms downs stairs I wouldn't put an expensive carpet in. Look for a carpet around $230 a l/m. This will be a good carpet and all you need. I hope this helps. Hi Michelle, Thank you for your response. I have decided to go ahead with the highbury place as the other choice was double the price. May I ask for your opinion with the laminate flooring, I am tossing between Preference Floor Aquastop 12mm 'Zermatt' or Topdeck Prime Platinum Edition 12.3mm 'Marigold Oak', which would you pick? The laminate flooring goes to whole ground floor living and kitchen space. I'm a bit of a fan of Preference....
