The glass fence is from their builder, I'm assuming to provide them maximum view from their deck. We're on the lower slope, they can't see us from the deck only when they come to the fence, ie. Mowing etc and it's pretty annoying since we sit outside quite a bit. The retaining wall was probably from the old builder, to make their yard flat. We have bought some Lillie pillie hedge but the part next to the retaining wall is all rock with little soil cover, so that was not a usable solution. Can provably fence up a stick and wire line to make a jasmine climber fence upto the top of their glass wall. If this is a possible solution, we would likely do it. But might take a few years... What about growing some bamboos from pots? they grow like grass so you will have full 6m height in less than 1.5 year It's possible but a soak well is usually much larger.
