Browse Forums Building A New House Re: G floor Electrical - 2 storey with Champion homes 2Dec 22, 2020 4:24 am muaustral Hi everyone, i am building a double storey with Champion homes and my electrical appointment is coming up. They are charging $110 per downlight. Is it possible to not do the ground floor downlights from the builder and do them after handover with my own electrician? How much would it cost to do them afterwards? Is it going to cause any major issues? I am a first home buyer so appreciate your insights ππΌ For double storey it is always recommended to go all your electrical installations through the builder. You donβt have space between the floors to crawl into and do installations after handover. So do all the stuff downstairs. Upstairs can be done after handover assuming that you have enough roof space. I hope this helps. Hello All π We are planning to start our journey of construction our first home.
