We have recently sold and looking to build another in the next stage on an acre west of Brisbane.
The block is elevated with views to the south and east. North is to the rear. The house will be set back approx 60m from the front, at the end of a cul-de-sac, and the 'back yard' wont be huge depth-wise but will be approx 80m wide - everything is out the front.
Proposed pool to go off alfresco and media rooms. Will look to add a window facing East of media and renoce the GGE window facing West. However, the only North facing window to living area is via the kitchen - is this going to be an issue?

Does get got here, not uncommon to be 40s in summer. We will insulate walls and roof space. Thoughts???

I’d consider swapping rumpus and bed, so the bedroom isn’t directly off the living area. Pantry I’d put the opening down near your fridge, and just have a walk through, although I know there is a lot of lovers for doors on pantries I’m not one of them.
