Need some help with Ventilation.This is the plan for my partly submerged basement.
Room 1 Contents are general home items, small pantry and other things you'd find stored in a garage exuding cards and tools.
Room 2 is a workshop, general tools and petrol garden tools etc.

- Grey floor space is exposed Concrete
- Brown floor space is dirt.
- Black Walls are exposed Brick with exposed first story floor boards as ceiling.
- White Walls are gyprock Painted with insulated ceiling.
- The red triangle represents the parts of the basement that are underground. The land is sloped so only Area 1 and parts of Cellar are underground. The rest is above ground with 1 Window (blue) and 2 external Doors.
General Humidity down here is about
55-70 When not Raining
80-90 when it Rains.
General Temp is usually 10 Degree's Cooler than outside due to partial submersion
Ionmax Dehumidifier runs in room 1 when humidity increases.
Can anyone help me figure out some ventilation Ideas?
Current Idea is as follows.
Door 1 has a 200-300mm grate installed in the center of the door for ventilation. I'm thinking if I mount a fan like this Fan the door to exhaust air and do a similar thing to door 2. Install fan and have it exhaust out maybe 12 hours a day to improve ventilation. Would this work in an area this large? Is there anything else I can do.
We've lived here for a few years and been running fans on an off and moving the dehumidifier around. Would like a more set and forget solution.
