I want a piered raft slab, double brick throughout, suspended slab first floor, excavated basement carpark etc but I don't need a fully custom floorplan / architecturally designed features etc and am happy to adapt a standard design. So in terms of what I need, I'm sort of in between a project builder and a custom builder. Are there any project builders that can work with higher spec builds like what I've described above? in Sydney? Thanks[/quote:hacsm6oo] Hi Echeclon6 We formed our company to operate exactly in that space. Depends on your budget, but we are doing mid to high specification homes that don't need any upgrades from $650-900k. if your interested check out http://www.ashingtonhomes.com.au cheers Simeon[/quote:hacsm6oo] Just stumbled across this SejaeD.... definitely up my alley and will be giving you a call... hard to find the right site though at the moment $$ wise Hi Manhattan I know what you mean. I am trying to buy something in your old stomping ground and the market is crazy. Have my eye on one at the moment that I want to set up as a Display, but we will see how we go at auction. Congrats on yours by the way! so happy for you cheers Simeon Simeon McGovern Affordable Custom Homes, We design and build to your budget Ashington Homes www.ashingtonhomes.com.au Re: High spec project builders in Sydney? 11Nov 10, 2020 6:11 am echelon6 Seems an unusual approach-why not instead find projects in the local area which share features with your proposed and try to talk to the owners about quality, delivery, cost etc etc (apologies if you have already done this. You run the risk of getting a project builder who is prepared to 'have a go' but loose out on local experience, practices and all the rest. Just curious-is it ground conditions or something else which warrants piers and a suspended basement slab? In Lower North Shore? Damn.
